Meet Tamara
I help women explore their knowing so that they become steady and rooted again.
Tamara holds fast to the belief that it is your knowing that makes the difference. Building from a Biblical lens on the trauma therapy concept Window of Tolerance, she noticed a pattern within herself, those she studied in the Bible, and others she has encountered- What we knew or at least thought we knew in the moment made all the difference in how we responded. This has led Tamara to help others explore their knowing in times of crisis, frustrations, and even happiness in order to expand their safety network of healthy beliefs, systems, connections, and collaborators on their journey. Because when our knowing is clarified, it steadies us and helps us to stay afloat.
Tamara Crutcher is a Growth & Soul Recovery coach, social worker, therapist in training, and a Christian minister. She is a two-time graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned a degree in Sociology and a Master of Social Work. She has also completed graduate-level course work in New & Old Testament Orientation, Contemporary Evangelism, Biblical Greek, and Discipleship ministries. Tamara is an author and the founder of GrowFaithful, an online peer-led ministry space. She holds a passion to encourage you, assist you in refining your knowing, and aid you in unlocking your growth potential.
Having endured a personal battle with symptoms of depression and suicidal ideations, Tamara has grown to know God’s heart for mental health and aspires to share this knowledge with others. Utilizing Biblically-sound resources, teachings, and clinical insight, she invites you to open up your heart to the wisdom of the Lord so that you get rooted and stay present in life.

WRITING
1 John 1:4 NKJV
And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
My reason for writing is simple- to be intentional about sharing what the Lord has shown and given me to share. I write to share His heart, His anointing with you through real and tangible stories.
SPEAKING
Isaiah 61:1 NKJV
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor…”
My heart is to speak under the anointing the things God gives me to speak. Talking comes easy, but speaking/preaching is an act of obedience.
COACHING
Luke 22:32 NKJV
“But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
As a Growth & Soul Recovery Coach, I help women get steady and rooted, encouraging them along the way.
COUNSELING
Proverbs 11:14 NKJV
“Where there is no counsel, the people fail; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”
I desire to be in the multitude of wise counselors who provide a safe place, a listening ear, and God’s heart for seeing you restored.
